Prezi

Every teacher at some point in their career has used Power Point or has viewed a Power Point.  When this Microsoft came out with Power Point it was very effective in its ability to allow users to design subject or concept specific presentations in a "slide" format.  Prezi is a new Web 2.0 Tool that is based on the same idea as a Power Point but it allows users to present information as part of a whole rather than a linear slideshow of separate ideas.

In a way, Prezi's allows instructors to design a flowing presentation that maps ideas and links them together.  View the Prezi "Why should you move beyond slides" to learn more advantages of using Prezi in the classroom.  To begin the presentation simply click on the right arrow; you pace the presentation yourself.
